Baltimore Running Festival

Baltimore Running Festival - October 15, 2011

The Baltimore Running Festival will be held on October 15, 2011 and Team Kam for The JMML Foundation will be there for its fourth year to participate in the Kids Fun Run. All kids under the age of 12 are invited to join the fun, running in one of two races designed especially for them.

Kids ages 7 and under run approximately 100 yards, while kids ages 8-12 run about 1/3 mile. Each runner passes through the marathon finish line and earns a medal for his or her excellent effort. Parents are encouraged to run with their children and strollers are welcome on the kids' course.

In addition to running as part of
Team Kam, kids (and/or their families) are asked to raise money for JMML research. There is no expected donation amount, but we ask that families raise as much as possible, as we cover the cost of the entry fee, brunch and a Team Kam t-shirt for each participant. A Toys-R-Us gift cardwill be awarded to the child/family who raises the most funds.
In 2011 the kids and their families raised over $4,000. Can you help us surpass that amount this year?

Children (or their parents) who are interested should contact Kelli at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
